Confirmation

Please confirm your booking within 7 days of your verbal Reservation, by paying a Deposit to Kooringal Golf Club. The Club reserves the right to cancel your Reservation, or allocate the venue to another member or client, if you do not confirm your reservation with the deposit.

Change of Date

If you would like to change the date of your Booking, you can make a request and our Function Coordinator will endeavour to assist if the date is available, but no guarantees can be given.

Deposit

The minimum Deposit payable with your booking is $100.00. You may pay the Deposit by Cash, Cheque, EFTPOS or Credit Card (excluding Amex/Diners) either in person or by calling (03) 9315 0855. For certain Functions the Club requires a security to be paid, this will be discussed at the time of booking the Function.

Price Changes

Menu prices are guaranteed once your booking has been confirmed by paying the deposit. However, Menus are subject to change at the discretion of our Head Chef.

Attendants

The minimum number of Guests required for a Lunch or Dinner Function is 40 unless prior arrangements have been organised. Please advise your expected number of Guests, as well as your chosen Menu, 14 days before your Function date and confirm the final number at least 7 days before the Function date.

Minimum Amount Payable

If the actual number of attendants falls below the confirmed number of Guests, you will be charged for the confirmed number of Guests. Final payment for Functions should be received 7 working days prior to the Function commencing excluding Bar Tabs.

Room Hire

A Room Hire charge for all Functions is applicable. Prices are quoted for a maximum of five hours duration per Function. Functions that conclude after Midnight may include an Extra Charge.

Restaurant/Spike Bar: $400.00   Restaurant: $200   Spike Bar: $130.00

Surcharge

A Surcharge of 10% on the total cost of Food will be added to your Bill if your Function is held on a Sunday or Public Holiday.

Food and Beverage

No food of any kind may be brought in for consumption by the Host /Organiser or any Guest. Special dietary requirements can be organised for your Function (i.e. Gluten Free, Vegetarian, Lactose intolerant.)

As we are a fully Licensed Venue, we can meet all Beverage requirements for your Function. Therefore it is not permitted to bring your own Beverages at all, prior to, during or after the Function. Kooringal Golf Club has a House Policy on Responsible Service of Alcohol, all Guests are asked to abide by this Policy at all times.

Smoking Laws

As of July 1st 2007, there is No Smoking allowed inside a Licensed premise. Due to these Laws Smoking is only allowed in designated outside areas.

Fire and Safety

Heaters, Smoke Machines, Open Flames or Pyrotechnic devices cannot be operated without prior approval of Kooringal Golf Club. All Floor Plans must adhere to Fire Safety Regulations and not block any Fire Exits or Public Entrances.

Insurance and Damage/Loss

Kooringal Golf Club will take all possible care but will accept no responsibility for Damage or Loss caused to Merchandise or other Property prior to, during or after a Function.

Clients and their Guests are financially responsible for any Damage or Loss caused to the Clubhouse, its facilities or property.

Cancellation

The Club will refund your deposit less a Booking Fee at the following rates:

• 100% of the Deposit, if cancelled 30-60 days before the Function.
• 10% of the Deposit if cancelled less than 30 days before the Function.
• Once Final Payment is made there will be no Refunds.

Closing Time

Functions must conclude at Midnight. Drink service will finish at 11.45pm.
