It is always a tremendous feat for volunteer labour to undertake construction of a Golf Course and many plantings of new trees were undertaken with the best of intentions.

Unfortunately some of the trees currently at the Golf Club are not suitable. Some of the trees are too big, have a great deal of deadwood or have significant tree root invasion on fairways and the Club has already addressed this.

We would only advise that one additional tree be added to the current planting list for around the road / golf course interface. This is to establish a good, quick growing evergreen native that has "hedge like" protection when planted in close proximity.
